Precision extrusions start with certified materials. At Alexandria Industries, our relationships with our suppliers are a priority. Some of our customers need products within 3-5 business days, which means we require our suppliers to provide ample quantity.
Selecting the correct alloy is an extremely important step. The staff at Alexandria Industries will assist you in determining the correct alloy for your product needs. Some alloys extrude at a faster rate, some alloys are easier to bend, and some alloys allow for machining better than others. Therefore, the selection of the alloy for your product is critical to the final product. So if you're considering 6061 vs 6063, our staff will consider everything and assist you in determining the correct alloy for you.
The majority of alloys extruded at Alexandria Industries is within the 6000 series, including 6005, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6360, and 6463. We also extrude customer specific 6XXX alloys per the request of our customers. With our focus of innovation, we are selected periodically by our suppliers to test new alloys being produced; therefore this list has a tendency to grow.
