Alexandria Industries is excited to participate in the National Association of Manufacturers' and the Manufacturing Institute's 2022 Manufacturing Tour Event. This year, Alexandria Industries' tour events – Manufacturing Strong: An Essential American Industry – will help educate students, parents, grandparents and our communities, about the value of the manufacturing industry and its economic impact on everyday Americans.
We are hosting tours at our Alexandria, Minn., and Carrollton, Texas facilities.

What's So Special About Manufacturing?!
Manufacturing today is nothing like it was in the 50s, 60s or even the 80s. It is not dirty, dark, monotonous, or low paying. It is bright, clean and high tech! The industry has transformed itself from human assembly lines and physical labor to advanced automation and robotics technology. At our 401 Alexandria facility, Alexandria Industries uses a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion press with a 175-foot run-out table. Our Carrollton, Texas, facility is known worldwide for its fine-tuned, heat sink manufacturing capabilities. We also use more than 100 CNC machines and pick-and-place robotics, as well as proprietary automated cutting and punching machines. Taking the labor out of manufacturing, we instead rely on our employees' expertise and skillsets to make the parts that go into products people see and use every day!
