Janelle Wunderlich, Director of Human Resources

In her role as the director of human resources at Alexandria Industries, Janelle is excited to make a positive impact on employees by creating an engaging and performative working environment. She aims to find employees exemplifying the company’s values and showcase these characteristics in ways that encourage both individual and business growth.

Her work will support Alexandria Industries two key pillars for success – Employer of Choice and Operational Excellence.

Janelle brings nearly two decades of experience in building strategic human resource programs. She specializes in creating innovative approaches to employee recruitment and retention, as well as designing novel management development and training programs that help managers grow.

Before Alexandria Industries, Janelle served as the human resources manager for 3M facilities located in northcentral Minnesota. She also served in various human resources roles for Bayer Built Woodworks and Wells Concrete.

Janelle has developed a strong relationship with the Alexandria, Minn., YMCA, during her years of living and working in Alexandria. She currently serves as a member of the YMCA board of directors and chairs its human resources committee. Her other activities include membership with the National Society of Human Resources Managers and serving as an ambassador for the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
