Everyone on our team – from the front office to the manufacturing floor to those who serve at the top of our organization – receives many training opportunities to keep learning new things and stretch ourselves far beyond the comfort of what we already know.

  • We provide opportunities for continued growth in a wide range of subjects.
  • Training opportunities typically fall into one of three categories: Relationships, Business or Technical.
  • Most training categories progress in a similar fashion, starting with individual awareness expanding to corporate impact.
  • We offer training by our in-house experts, and through partnerships with educators, industry professionals, peers, and business partners.

Employee training opportunities include: servant leadership, safety training, Quick Response Manufacturing, Leadership Academy (18-month training program), email etiquette, Leadership Essentials, Leadership 101 (12-month training program), Microsoft Office products, and new employee training. This is just a sample of the training opportunities available to every employee. If additional training needs arise, our corporate training team will develop tailored in-house training programs, or when needed, seek outside training resources.

Tuition Reimbursement

Certain Alexandria Industries facilities currently offer tuition reimbursement for employees who participate in fee-based training services or earn a college degree at an approved post-secondary institution.

Employees who seek training or formal education are required to build upon their existing skill set, or develop a new skill that will enable them to fulfill a role attainable in their future.
