Alexandria Industries Receives Progress Minnesota Award

Alexandria Industries received a 2016 Progress Minnesota award. The award program recognizes entrepreneurs, individuals, businesses, manufacturers, nonprofits and economic development organizations for moving the Minnesota economy forward in innovative ways.

Alexandria Industries was nominated for its successful job growth, along with addressing the current skills gap and worker shortage issue. Competing with several other large and well-known companies, the judges were highly impressed with the company’s efforts and progress in these areas. The judging panel included representatives from DEED, the Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM) and The University of St. Thomas.
