Alexandria Industries Fishing For the Cure Ice Fishing Challenge

Our 13th annual Fishing For the Cure Ice Fishing Challenge will be held on Feb. 16, 2019, 12 noon – 3 p.m. on Smith Lake, in Alexandria, Minn.

It’s never too early to start thinking about ice fishing. Especially when there is such a great reason behind this event—fighting cancer. The committee is already starting to meet and plan for our 2019 tournament.

Last year, we surpassed our $50,000 fundraising goal. Because of the generosity of many local businesses and prize donors, contributors, volunteers, and fishing participants, together we raised $57,500! All of the proceeds from this tournament are donated to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life to help find a cure for cancer.
