OPERATION APPRECIATION

In light of all the tragic events surrounding law enforcement and first responders across the country, we wanted to take the time to do something special to recognize those who serve our communities and to say thank you.

To do this, we hosted our first OPERATION APPRECIATION event at our main extrusion facility in Alexandria, Minn.

OPERATION APPRECIATION gave us the opportunity to extend our gratitude by serving a simple meal to our local first responders – sheriffs, police, state patrol, emergency medical services personnel and firefighters – and their families. The family-friendly event included a clown-balloon artist and bouncy house for the children. It was a heartwarming and fun experience for everyone who came.

First responders who attended were appreciative of the gratitude they received and humbled by the recognition. Some of the responders, who worked during the event and were unable to leave their posts, appreciated that we were willing to deliver meals to them.

According to one attendee, “With all that is going on in Minnesota and across the country with law enforcement, the respect and appreciation shown to, and felt by, our staff was most appreciated. THANK YOU!”
